Auditor - Information Systems

JOB PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Department Head – Internal Audit, the role of the Auditor, Information Systems is to assist with the preservation of the computer assets of the organization. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that IT reviews fulfil the purpose and responsibility of the IT function; appraising the reliability and integrity of the system as well as ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulations.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Terms of Reference and Audit Programmes developed in accordance with required standards.
• Audit investigations conducted in accordance with required standards.
• Working paper files completed and properly referenced.
• Audit reports produced in accordance with required standards.
• Opening and exit interviews conducted in accordance with required standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution.
• Diploma in Business Administration/Management Studies/Accounting.
• Certified Internal Auditor certification would be an asset.
• 5 years as an Information Systems Auditor
• 2-3 years of experience at a Supervisory level.
• General Proficiency with CAATS
